Trying something out

Starting Again on blogging my crafts....

I haven't posting anything in a while. I have been sooo busy with crafting and selling. I decided now is the time to post some pictures of my work. When I create a custom lingerie piece for you, everything is kept very confidential. I have many men as well as women that I create for. I also have many in my area that purchase from me and I maintain their privacy.
I have been making things forever as we were just plain "ol' country folks" and did not have money for much of anything. There were 6 of us kids and we lived quite a ways from a town. Going to K-mart was a big once a month adventure for us. so, when we seen something we wanted my mother would say,"Well, make it!"
So thus began my world of crafting and making everything that I could. When I see aomething I am always trying to figure out how to make it! So, therefore I have many venues of crafting that I do.
I love to "up-cycle" clothing! I love the Gothic, Victorian, Vamp look! Dark, mysterious and is reminiscence of days gone by. The hot pink dress is one that I "up-cycled". It is presently on etsy for sale. This started life as an 80's style dress, remeber the kind with the big hug bow on the rear end. Just where we women want to draw attention! Yeah, right. It has been given a complete make over and one that I just love! I am presently working on a black velvet jacket, breathing life into it to become a Gothic Vamp jacket.

Another part of what I do is to make yarn. I am a spinner and weaver. I spin my own yarn and weave shawls from my yarns. Some of my yarns I do sell, either on etsy or ebay. I presently have a big and beautiful double weave shawl on etsy for sale. This is not the typical light weight shawl as it is woven with double strands of my homespun yarns purrfect for out doors wearing! I am presently spinning some wolf fiber for a lady in Arizonia that raises wolves. I do custom spinning from your pet's fiber. Contact me at gmail for pricing and info on this. This Krafty Kitty Handspun yarn pictured to the right was spun with Angora Rabbit, Merino and I added bits of colored fluff to make the sprinkles of color. This was all sold and I do not have anymore. All my yarn is one of a kind (OOAK) as I do not plan anything when spinning. I mix different fibers and colors. I love anything different and unique. All my yarn is that, different and unique. I do always make enough for someone to have plenty of yarn for a project.
Another venue is my woodworking. I make treasure boxes and "magic" wands. The "Witch Board" is a custom piece made for a lady and she has graciously given me permission to post that photo.

Well, time to go and craft as I have been felting a lovely Gothic shoulder purse. I will post pictures as soon as I am finished.
